Apsys’ Chairman, Maurice Bansay is passionate about retail and urban planning.
After spending ten years working for the Groupe Trema, where he developed shopping malls such as Grand Littoral in Marseille, Maurice Bansay created Apsys in 1996 with the ambition of breathing life into a new generation of shopping and leisure places.
Apsys has created 25 assets et became a retail property reference in France and Poland. With the repurchase of Beaugrenelle in 2014, Maurice Bansay has pushed forward Apsys as a model of property developer. To this day, the group manages a portefolio of 33 shopping centres (including Beaugrenelle, Manufaktura, Posnania and Muse, all of them winners of the ICSC Award of the Best New European Shopping Center) and pilots a pipeline of 6 projects under development (including Bordeaux Saint-Jean, a new urban iconic operation). In 2014, Maurice Bansay has been awarded as the « Personality who impacted the French shopping centre industry ».
