avril 20, 2020

Following the agreement between the French Building Federation and the Government and in order to contribute to the national economic activity, the Steel building site, suspended since March 18th, has been the subject of a partial recovery since April 20th.

Work is resuming in accordance with the prescriptions of the « Guide to health safety recommendations for the continuity of construction activities » developed by OPPBTP (French Professional Building and Public Works Prevention Organization), workers safety being our primary concern. Only voluntary companies, ten to date, took over the building site and the takeover work does not for the moment concern the fitting out of store premises. This ten first compagnies could be joined by others in the coming days and weeks, for a gradual ramp-up of the building site. Tasks entrusted to companies and the organization set up as part of this partial takeover are those compatible with strict compliance with health security measures.

To date, it is not possible to determine the new opening date for Steel, originally scheduled for May 13th, 2020 and postponed due to the suspension of the building site. This will be made public as soon as possible.
