APSYS FRANCE TAKES ACCOMPANYING MEASURES FOR THE TENANTS OF ITS ASSETS
In the context of a major global health crisis linked to the spread of Covid-19, government has taken restrictive measures which have a strong impact on the shopping centres industry and the activity of all of its players.
As a partner of brands and retailers since its creation, and in solidarity with them, Apsys has taken strong decisions, in order to support its tenants affected by the decree to close non-essential businesses and preserve their cash during this difficult period:
- Monthly rental payments for the second quarter of 2020
- Suspension of rents and charges during the period when businesses are closed (including if this, scheduled to date until April 15th, 2020, were to be extended)
In order to preserve the security of its employees and partners (suppliers, tenants, etc.), Apsys also decided to suspend works on the Steel building site, its retail park project at the entrance to the town of Saint-Etienne, which was scheduled to open on May 13th. As a result, the opening of Steel is postponed to a later date, which will be announced as soon as the situation will allow it.
Attentive to the evolution of the situation, Apsys teams remain in permanent dialogue with all industry stakeholders, so as to overcome this major crisis together and revive the activity of shopping centers, places to live and share as much as economic ecosystems, as soon as possible.
