Following on from Manufaktura in 2008 and Beaugrenelle in 2015, it was now time for Posnania, Apsys’ new flagship in Poland, to receive the European Shopping Centre Award in the category “New developments: extra large”. With this third distinction, Apsys’ savoir-faire in creating iconic places has once again been recognised.
Financière Apsys1 acquired on January 12, 2018, 89.11% of the share capital and voting rights of Compagnie Foncière Internationale (« CFI »), listed on Euronext Paris, for a total price of 630,486 euros (i.e circa 0.83 euro per share) from Yellow Grafton SC2, which sold its entire shareholding in CFI (i.e. 761,206 shares). Financière Apsys equity-financed this acquisition.
Apsys Polska is the several times winner of the 7th edition of the PRCH Retail Awards competition. Its flagship project – Posnania was chosen the best new shopping center of the year and the inaugural event of Posnania’s opening was considered the best opening campaign. Apsys was also awarded for hosting the industry’s most important event and for two CSR campaigns and a pro-sales campaign.
Muse, Lorraine’s new mall, will be opening its doors to the public on 22 November 2017 in Metz. Highly anticipated by residents of Metz and the entire Lorraine region, this opening will crown nearly three years of works. A multifunctional project, the Muse superstructure will accommodate 34,000 sqm of office space and homes above 46,000 sqm of commercial space, including the very first housing programme designed by Apsys (First).
Apsys strengthens its management team with the creation of two new key roles: Deputy CEO responsible for Asset Management in France, entrusted to Manuel Tessier (previously Director of Asset Management), and Group Concept, Design and Innovation Director, entrusted to Guillaume Sadoux, who has just joined Apsys.
Apsys has secured the long-term refinancing of Posnania, its new Polish flagship, with Berlin Hyp AG, ING Bank Śląski S.A., Société Générale and Deutsche Postbank AG.
A flagship investment of Apsys in Poland, Posnania, won two gold Solal statuettes during the ICSC Solal Marketing Awards gala in Vienna. Two campaigns – the grand opening of Posnania and a brand awareness project – gained the jury’s highest recognition. ICSC Solal Marketing Awards is the most important competition in the retail industry.
On the occasion of the Siec retail real estate exhibition, Apsys is unveiling something new and rich! An ultra-creative concept with a generous customer experience, Muse is the must-see event of this autumn in Metz. The active shopping resorts Steel in Saint Etienne and Eden in Servon will see construction starting very soon. Finally, Neyrpic, a vibrant place at the heart of a former factory, will be taking place of honour at this fair!
On the occasion of the Biennale Internationale Design, taking place from 9 March to 9 April 2017 in Saint-Etienne, France, the design studio Joran Briand Associés will present as part of an exhibition at the Saint-Etienne Tourist Office: the Steel shopping-centre development featuring spectacular architecture, led by Apsys, and the aluminium mantilla structure specially created for this project.
The Jury of the “CEE Retail Awards 2016” rewarded Posnania as the best shopping centre of 2016. Moreover, Apsys Polska won in the category “Retail Developer of the Year”. This is the 4th prize for Posnania and the 7th award for Apsys in recognition of its development activity conducted in the last three years (2014-2016).
Thanks to its exclusive positioning and new property development model, Apsys has experienced significant growth over the last few years. In order to further improve the performance of its assets and the strength of its projects, Apsys is creating a Group CEO role, carried out by Fabrice Bansay.

The conclusion of the investment’s financing agreement with a consortium of banks composed of Berlin Hyp, ING and BGK concludes another stage in the realization of the future regional shopping center in Poznań. The securing of the financing by the consortium of banks shall trigger the commencement of construction works on this state-of-art shopping center with a surface area of almost 100.000 sqm , which has already been pre-leased in 80%.
Paris, April 29th, 2014 – Apsys, Groupe Madar and Financière Saint James announce today that they have sealed a deal to acquire Beaugrenelle. The consortium, which combines diverse experiences in the retail industry, is driven by the same ambition: enhancing the unique, pioneering positioning of this already iconic asset. A novel concept of a 21st-century department store, Beaugrenelle has attracted over 5.5 million visitors (partial footfall data) since its opening in late October 2013.
Paris, 20th February 2014. Apsys, Groupe Madar and Financière Saint James announce they have signed a purchase agreement for Beaugrenelle, the new must-see address for shopping in Paris. The consortium is made up of Apsys (40%), Groupe Madar (40%) and Financière Saint James (20%). The selling price of €700M, makes the purchase the largest transaction for a single commercial asset in France.
The groundbreaking ceremony for development of Vill’up took place on Thursday, May 23, 2013, attended by François Dagnaud, Mayor of Paris’ 19th arrondissement, Maurice Bansay, Founding President of APSYS, Claudie Haigneré, President of Universcience, and Philippe Perret, CEO of Sogecap and co-investor with APSYS.
Apsys Polska has signed an agreement with the City of Poznań regarding the exchange of land for the construction of the ŁACINA Shopping and Leisure Centre. Under this agreement the company has acquired the land needed to start the works. The company has also obtained the final building permit for shopping centre, that will become one of the largest and most modern complexes of its type in Poland.
The acquisition of the Manufaktura regional shopping centre, located in Łódź, Poland, by the Union Investment Real Estate AG for the opend-ended fund Unilmmo: Deutschland will be completed on 31 October 2012. Worth € 390 m., this transaction will stand as the largest single retail asset deal so far this year. The sellers are the Euris / Rallye group and Apsys, who will continue to manage the shopping centre.
Apsys and Euris/Rallye Group, advised by HSBC, have initiated one of the largest real estate transactions of this year so far with Unilmmo: Deutschland, an open ended fund of Union Investment AG – the sale of the Manufaktura leisure and shopping centre in Lodz (Poland), the largest shopping center in Central and Eastern Europe.
