Apsys Polska - a BREEAM In-Use certification pioneer in Poland

Apsys Polska is the first manager of shopping centers in Poland which has been awarded with the BREEAM In-Use certificate. The certificates were granted to Trzy Stawy in Katowice (result "GOOD" in the category Asset Rating and Building Management) and Manufaktura in Łódź (result "VERY GOOD" in the categories Asset and Building Management). These are the first functioning buildings and thus the first commercial centers in Poland which were awarded with the BREEAM In-Use certificate due to their satisfying strict environmental and social criteria.

The representative of BREEAM International has stressed the fact that in the case when presently only 3% of buildings have been awarded with VERY GOOD certificate for management and only 13% of building have been awarded with VERY GOOD certificate for management, it is a great success of the company Apsys to have in its management portfolio centers with such certificates.

Presently, Apsys is in the course of obtaining the BREEAM certificate for the subsequent shopping centre, which in connection with the already awarded certificates confirms the status of Apsys as a “green” developer and manager.
